Nanny

In my opinion, if you like children, it’s a good idea to work as a nanny: you can earn money without too many difficulties, developing your experience.
I love working as a nanny because I love interacting with children, and working with and looking after children gives me the opportunity to enjoy the work I am doing, learning and improving my patience and my responsibility.
I have been working as a nanny (and learning as much as I can) since I was 13, because I’ve always wanted to be economically independent from my parents and because, since I was young, I’ve always loved children.
This year I am working as a nanny 3 days a week, 3 hours and a half a day: I look after 4 children (3 brothers and 1 sister). Francesco is 8, Fanny is 7, Filippo is 5 and Benedetto is a baby (he’s 18 months old).
When I am with them, I try not to think about problems I have, and if I am angry for some reason, I try not to show them I’m angry. I smile, I play and I laugh with them, I suggest different games. I am happy, perky, bright, but when it’s necessary, I am firm, and if I know their mother doesn’t want them to do something, I don’t let them do it, and I don’t satisfy their desires if I’m not sure about their parents’ opinion.
