The demographic revolution
For some years young people leaving school or university have experienced great difficulty in finding a job. In many parts of Britain factories and offices closed down and a lot of people were unemployed.
Every year hundreds of thousands of teenagers left school, all of them looking for a job, and this sometimes made the situation impossible.
Will things change in the next few years? The problem in the past was that there were too many people looking for work and there were not enough jobs.
