LONDON ON THE ROAD

Welcome to the original and most popular sightseeing tour around London. It is the only one to offer a two-day sightseeing on a traditional double-decker London bus, with a choice of taped commentary or live commentary by a qualified tour guide.

DAY 1st
You meet the tour guide in front of the Tower of London at 9 am. The Tower has been used as fortress, prison, palace and a place of brutal executions in a medieval time.
Then you cross the Tower Bridge and you reach the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre passing Southwark Street. In this famous theatre you can see Shakespeare’s plays in almost exactly the same conditions as he had intended.
At 12 o’clock you have lunch in a typical restaurant in New Bridge Street near “the City”.
After you visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, which was built by Christopher Wren, it is the final resting place of numerous renowned soldiers, it is also the scene of many famous weddings, such as that of Prince Charles and lady Diana Spencer.
Then transfer to the British Museum by coach. It is considered one of the world’s great museum, it contains antiquities from Egypt, Greece, Rome and Great Britain and other artefacts from prehistoric times to the present days.
You have dinner at the hotel and then, in the evening, you go to Wembley Arena to watch live bands that play blue&jazz music.

DAY 2nd
At 9 am, you go to Hyde Park with its Serpentine Lake.
Then you reach Buckingham Palace to assist to the “Changing of the Guard”. During the summer this happens every morning at 11 o’clock.
You reach Regent’s Park to visit the London Zoo. It is situated in the Outer Ring, there you can find a lot of wild animals.
After you can enjoy yourself with a Canal Boat trip in Regent’s Park. Board the narrowboat at Little Venice and cruise along the Regent’s Canal. Through Regent’s Park you reach Camden Lock. Here you can browse around the market and enjoy some refreshments before taking your return boat to Little Venice.
After that you go along Regent Street, where you can find a lot of clothes and jewellery shops; you can find also Cafè Royal, it is the cafè of several famous writers and finally you reach Kingly Street to see St. Thomas’s Church, where you can find Italian works.
You have dinner at the hotel and then you can see the Royal Ballet Company’s performance at the Albert’s Hall.
