THAT/THOSE si usa per indicare PERSONE. Animali o cose che si trovano lontano da noi.
SOME nelle frasi affermative con sost plur.
ANY nelle frasi negative o int. con sostantivi plurali.
A FEW: pochi, alcuni. Con sost. Numerabili.
A LITTLE: un po’. Con numerabili.Slice=fetta, Loat=filone,
IN FRONT OF : davanti a. BEHIND: dietro. UNDER: sotto.
WHO: chi. WHOSE: di chi. HOW LONG:x quanto tempo. HOW: quanto.

PRESENT SIMPLE
• AFFERMATIVA
• si forma con soggetto + verbo, si aggiunge la s in terza pers. (I play)
• INTERROGATIVA: do(o does) + sogg. + verbo base.(do you like football?)
• NEGATIVE: sogg + don’t + verbo.(I don’t play)

AT x ora con the weekend, night, noon.
IN x mesi, anni, stagioni con the moorning…
ON x giorni della settimana

I verbi di frequenza stanno tra il sogg. e il verbo.

PRESENT CONTINOUS
Si forma con to be, aggiungendo ing al verbo. Esprime azioni che avvengono sul momento.(I’m playing the music at the moment.)
PAST SIMPLE
TO BE:
• Was x la I e la 3 pers x tutte le altre si usa were
• X la domanda was/were più sogg.
• La negazione was/were più not
HAVE:
• Il verbo had rimane lo stesso x tutte le pers.
• La dom. si fa con did + sogg. più have.
• La negazione si fa con didn’t + have.
• Nei verbi regolari si aggiunge ed alla desinenza del verbo.
• Il p.s. descrive un’azione avvenuta nel pass., in un tempo determinato.

Negli avverbi si aggiunge la desinenza ly.

SHOULD= si usa x dare suggerimenti
MUST= obbligo.
CAN= potere.
HAVE TO=è come must ma si usa x tutti i tempi tranne con il present tense.
BE ALLOWED TO=avere il permesso di fare qualcosa.
EVER=mai, in frasi int. e aff.
NEVER=mai,x fare dichiarazioni negative.
ALREADY=già, con frasi int. e aff.
YET=ancora, con frasi int. e neg.
FOR=esprime durata
SINCE=indica quando un’ azione è iniziata.
HAVE GONE(to)=x present perfect,sign. andare in un posto e restarci.
HAVE BEEN(to)=x present perfect, sign. andare e tornare da un posto.
TOO=davanti agli agg.e agli avverbi.
ENOUGH=dopo gli agg. e gli avverbi.
PRESENT PERFECT
• Have/Has + past participle del verbo.( I have bought a new dress)
• La domanda si fa con have/has davanti al pronome della frase
• Indica azioni avvenute nel passato, in un tempo indeterminato.
• Può descrivere azioni che nonostante siano iniziate nel pass., continuano ad avere luogo nel presente.(I have know tom for 5 years)

USED TO=si usa x indicare abitudini del passato che non avvengono più.(sarah used to drink a lot of coffe.)
AGREEING-DISAGREEN- SO- NEITHER/NOT=si usa so (o neither/nor) + verbo ausiliare più sogg. x esprimere accordo o disaccordo. (Jim lives in Warsaw. So do I)(Eve doesn’t like going to the cinema. Neither/nor does Ann.
PAST CONTINOUS

• Si forma con il verbo was/were + ing.
• Si usa x descrivere un’ azione passata che aveva luogo in un periodo determinato, di cui però non si sa quando è inziata e finita.(At five o’ clock yesterday Iwas cooking dinner.)
• Si usa x descrivere un’ azione che si svolgeva nel passato quanto è inziata .

FUTURE SIMPLE
• Si forma con will e il verbo principale.
• Si usa x fare delle previsioni.(Robots will do must of the work in the future.)
• Si x decisioni che si prendono nel momento in cui si parla o x promesse.(It’s coldin here.I’ll close the window)
• Si usa willyou..?x fare una richiesta.

BE GOING TO
• Si forma con to be going to e il verbo principale
• Si usa x parlare di azioni o progetti che si ha intenzione di realizzare nel futuro immediato.(Susan is going to move house.)
• Si usa x eventi che è molto probabile che si realizzino nel futuro immediato.(Look at him.He’s going to jump out of the train.)

WHEN=si usa nel condizionals quando si è sicuri che un fatto si verificherà.(I’ll see you when Icome to Paris.)
IF=si usa nei conditionals quando non si è sicuri che un fatto avverrà.

CONDITIONALS TYPE 1=esprime qualcosa di reale o qualcosa che è possibile che si verifichi nel presente o nel futuro.IF +PRESENT SIMPLE+FUTURE SIMPLE.(If Tom studied hard, he will pass the exam.)(se tom studia, passerà l’esame.)
CONDITIONALS TYPE 0=si usa x esprimere una verità perenne, o x parlare di qualcosa che si verifica sempre come conseguenza di un altro fatto.IF/WHEN+PRESENT SIMPLE+PRESENT SIMPLE.(if the sun shines, snow melts.)
CONDITIONALS TYPE 2=esprime qualcosa di immaginario o qualcosa che è possibile che abbia luogo nel presente o nel futuro.IF+PAST SIMPLE+WOULD/COULD/MIGHT+BARE INFINITO.
(If I had more free time, I would take up baseball.)(se avessi più tempo libero, farei basketball.)
• CONDITIONALS TYPE 3=if you studied, you would have passed the exam(se avessi studiato, avresti passato l’esame.)

PAST PERFECT SIMPLE
• Si forma con had e il past participle.
• Si usa x un’azione avvenuta nel passato prima di un’altra azione anch’essa passata. Per l’azione avvenuta prima si usa il past perfect simple e per l’altra il past simple.
• Si usa come un tempo equivalente al passato del present perfect simple, cioè si usa x un’azione che è stata iniziata e compiuta nel passato, ma il present perfect simple si usa x un’azione che nonostante sia iniziata nel passato, è finita nel presente.(Greg wasn’t at home.He had gone out.)
