Testo

Genisse’s mom told Genisse that her cousin from Honduras was
coming that night and she was going to stay in the house for a couple of
days. Her parents had gotten divorced and they had nowhere to keep her.
Genisse became pretty mad because she had to share a room with her
cousin who she has not seen in six years. She heard that her cousin was a
pain in the butt but Genisse didn’t really care; she had her own friends,
her own life; she thought that when her cousin came, she would not pay
much attention to her. She would not mess with her and hoped her cousin
would not mess with her either. The time came for her cousin Daisy to
arrive.
Genisse didn’t really mind, because she was too busy talking to her
friends on her cell phone and telling them about her cousin coming from
New York. After a few minutes, Genisse’s mom told her to hang up and
come to say hi to her cousin and show her the room and her bed. Genisse
went and told her: “Hey, that’s your bed this is mine. You can hang your
stuff in my closet if you like, and please be neat.
A few days passed and Genisse was getting along pretty well with her
cousin: she was not so bad after all. One day, Daisy opened her hotmail
messenger: she wanted to know if her Honduran friends still remembered
her. She checked her messenger and found out that a lot of her Honduran
friends were connected and she started chatting with a few.
When Genisse, all of a sudden, came into the room and asked her: “Hey,
who are you chatting with?” “Hey! I thought Honduran guys were ugly
but he is cute!!! What is his name?” “Eduardo,” said Daisy. Then she
added “I can open a hotmail e-mail for you, and you can chat with him…
maybe you’ll like him more.” Genisse agreed, and her cousin Daisy added
Eduardo and some other friends to her messenger. As soon as Genisse
logged on, Eduardo started talking to her; he asked her “Are you Daisy’s
cousin?” She said “yes”. Then he asked her “Can you post a picture of
your self so I can see you?” When she posted the picture he told her “you
are pretty… Really pretty”. Genisse too was curious to see him, so she
told Eduardo to post a picture as well. As soon as she saw him, she told
him “Wow!! You are really cute too!!”

That’s how the whole story started. Since that day, Genisse chatted

with Eduardo every day, from morning till night. They reached a point
where they actually took food to the computer room: they could not stop
chatting.
Daisy told Genisse she could use the camera, and she showed her
how to do it. Since that moment, Eduardo and Genisse could actually see
each other. Genisse could see how cute he was. She really liked him. And
Eduardo liked her too…
One day, Genisse’s mom came to the room and asked her “Hey baby,
where do you want to go for vacation?” she said “Well… I want to go to
Honduras to see my grandma… You know… I miss her.” “Okay,” said
her mom, “I know how much you love your grandma”.
Daisy came into the room and asked Genisse “Are you actually
going to go to Honduras???” “Yes,” answered Genisse, “I am going to
leave next month.”
Daisy said, “Well… I’ll leave next week… When you arrive in Honduras,
call me.” “Yeah, okay,” Genisse said.
A month passed and Genisse continued chatting with Eduardo,
seeing each other via the camera.

Since she had left, Daisy had called Genisse a couple of times telling
her about Eduardo and all the fun she was having in Honduras. Then, she
asked her when she would come. Genisse told her “Well… My mom had
already bought my ticket with American Airlines. I would be there in a
week, but I’m not sure, because it seems that a hurricane is on the way.”
When Genisse told Eduardo that she was going to go to Honduras, he had
gotten mad and told her that she needed to stop playing with him, telling
him that she was going to go. “This time it is definitive,” she said,
“I’m coming this Sunday afternoon baby”.

Sunday finally came. She was excited and nervous. Her flight was six hours late, but finally she boarded the plane. She was impatient to see
Eduardo, but also her grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles who she has
not seen for six years. When she arrived, her grandparents took her to
their house.
She was excited. She knew that from that moment she would be able to
meet Eduardo every time she wanted.

Because her family and her cousin from Los Angels had come for
vacation too, Genisse spent the first week in Honduras with them. She
didn’t have internet at home, so one day, she asked her cousin Melissa,
“Hey… do you want to go to an internet café with me? I want to open my
messenger to see if Eduardo is connected. I want to meet him.” The two
cousins went to the nearest internet café and as soon as Genisse opened
her messenger, Eduardo told her “Hey! How are you? Are you coming or
were you lying?” “No,” she said, “I am here in Honduras… If you want to
come and see me, I am in the internet café in front of the park, next to
Carrion… I am going to go shopping in Carrion.” “I’ll see you there,” he
said, “Hurry up,” she told him, “because I’ll only wait fifteen minutes for
you; if you do not come, I’ll leave.” “I’ll be there,” he told her.

Genisse was really excited. She was going to meet him. When she
told Melissa what was going to happen, her cousin got excited too.
They were in Carrion and twenty minutes passed. She got tired of waiting
and told her cousin, “Hey… I think it was all a lie. He’s not going to come.
He was just lying. Twenty minutes have already passed… let’s go home.”
Genisse was going down the steps, when, all of a sudden, her cousin told
her, “Look at that cutie in front of the park… dam he looks good.” “Oh,
shit… that’s him,” Genisse said, “Oh my God!! Let’s leave! I am too shy. I
can’t meet him!!!” But Melissa told her, “No… You’ll talk with him… You
can do it.”
Eduardo came over and said, “Hey! What’s up? How are you doing? How
was your flight?” “Well… good,” she said. She didn’t know what to say…
“Well… Nice to meet you,” she said, “Hey… Do you want to go to the
disco tonight?” She asked “I want to keep talking to you there, because I
have to go now.” “Okay… I will see you there,” he said. Then, they said
bye to each other.
That night, they met and talked in the club the whole night. After
many hours, Genisse told him that she had to go and asked him if he
wanted to escort her home. He said, “Yeah, of course.” When they arrived
in front of her house, Genisse told him, “Hey, it was nice to meet you. I
had a wonderful night. Bye!! Take care.” She gave him a kiss on the cheek
and got out of the car. He said, “Hey!!! Come back!! Give me a kiss on the
mouth…” she came back and… Well… From that moment they fell in
love...
And… Guess what? They got married!!
